Ok it’s almost Christmas and I don’t do much, if any, camping in the winter time. But I do like to buy and get camping gear for Christmas. I’m playing with a site I found that lets you creat webpages so I’m trying to get one setup that focuses on camping gear reviews so check it out and let me know what you think! Until next time…
Camping Gear Review
December 9, 2006 by azcampingTruck Tent or Dome Tent - Which One to Choose
July 19, 2006 by azcampingOk, so I’ve been looking at mostly dome type tents, but now I’m thinking maybe I should get a truck tent. These tents are really cool looking. I mean you set the tent up around or attached to your truck, however you can pull your truck away. Lots of truck tents to look through on different sites. Some are the same but maybe a different price or just a different website selling the tent for the same price. Right now I’m just in information gathering mode to review these later. So Here goes a list of some I like:
New! Designed to fit all full and mid size SUV’s, minivans and trucks with caps: Features Include: - 10′w x 10′l x 8′h tent sleeps 6. - 6′ awning/rainfly. - 2 doors. - fiberglass poles. - waterproof, polyethlene coated floor with rip-stop protection. - no-see-um mesh on all windows. - fully detachable sock allows you to drive away leaving a stand-alone tent.
Sportz SUV Tent & Minivan Tent

Or these dome tents I was looking at:

Quechua Self Erecting Tent
July 19, 2006 by azcampingI’m new to blogging and have set this site up just to learn more about it but also to document my research into camping gear, places, stories, etc. Anyway I’m search for information about a quechua self erecting tent and I end up on the home page of www.coolcampinggear.com which appears to be a useful site, however I can find any information on the tent. So I search the site for quechua self erecting tent and still nothing. What goes?

I need a tent that is easy to setup and take down
July 18, 2006 by azcampingI’m looking for a tent for two that is easy to put up and take down. I’m considering this two person tent to buy as it’s about $70 and seems easy enough. I’ll do a little more research first though.
